According to a report issued Wednesday by the Agency for International Development, the shortages 'are threatening security and some humanitarian operations.' They 'are endangering hospital patients' in hospitals that depend on generators, the agency said, adding that 'cold storage for medicines and vaccination programs are also affected.' " [more]

Born on October 22, 2001 at Swarthmore College, we were a handful of freshmen and sophmores who vocally opposed the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere.
