Former Commanding Officer of Naval Air Depot Joins DynCorp

Emory Chenoweth to Lead Strategic Planning Efforts

RESTON, Va., June 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Captain Emory L. Chenoweth, retired

Commanding Officer of the Naval Air Depot, North Island, recently joined

DynCorp, a $2 billion information technology and management & operations

solutions company, as the director of special programs, Navy. In this role,

Chenoweth will lead the DynCorp's San Diego-based Integrated Technology

Solutions (ITS) unit's strategic planning initiatives.

Chenoweth, a Baltimore, Md.-native who graduated from the U.S. Naval

Academy and later was an instructor there, brings to DynCorp a distinguished

25-year Naval career. He possesses more than 15 years of comprehensive

acquisition experience and proven leadership achievement in program

management, systems engineering, test and evaluation and in-service depot-

level repair.

Chenoweth holds a master's degree in Physics from the Naval Postgraduate

School and is an active member of the Society of Experimental Test Pilots, the

International Test and Evaluation Association, the U. S. Naval Institute, and

the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
