CABRA, SERBIA - MONTENEGRO : Nato-led peacekeepers in full riot gear set up barricades and checkpoints to prevent unrest on Sunday at the funerals for two ethnic Albanian boys whose drowning, blamed on Serbs, sparked violence in Kosovo.
Thousands gathered for the funeral in the village of Cabra , 25 miles north of the capital, Pristina.
Authorities have been investigating a 13-year-old survivor’s claims that a group of Serbs with a dog chased the children into the Ibar River .
The boys’ deaths on Wednesday triggered days of rioting, looting and arson by ethnic Albanians against Serbs that left 28 people dead, 600 injured.
